Venezuela Central Power Plant Camp Project
25+ years of useful life
- Total building area: 25,800 square meters. Living
- Office area (semi-permanent building): 11,600 square meters
- Living and office area (temporary building): 14,200 square meters
- Climate type: Tropical plains climate
- Project Characteristics: Semi-permanent residential camp
- Highly corrosive Geography: The project is located in the north-central part of Venezuela's territory, with an average annual rainfall of about 500 millimeters to 3,000 millimeters. The project site is close to the Caribbean Sea at a distance of only 100 meters.
The Venezuela Central Power Plant Unit 6 project is Venezuela's largest thermal power plant and the most significant power project under the China-Venezuela Mega Funding Program. Tseason provided living and office camps for this project.
Tseason The program uses semi-permanent housing design using domestic, more mature light steel housing system houses; the design life of such houses is more than 25 years to meet the owner of part of the camp as the later operation of the requirements of the house. To cope with the high corrosion environment, the main body of the house adopts a hot-dip galvanized structure, and its anti-corrosion performance is better than that of an ordinary spray-painted structure. Outdoor components (such as security nets, etc.) are treated with plastic dipping. All the connecting hardware is treated with Dacromet to increase the anti-corrosion effect. Ensuring structural safetyThe first floor of the two-story building adopts the domestic traditional H-steel structure system as the load-bearing system, and the second floor adopts the thin-walled section steel system, which solves the problem of large span and ensures the structural safety of the whole building a the same time.
